Theory of a Deadman
Formed in British Columbia just before the turn of the millennium, Theory of a Deadman caught the ear of Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, who got the group a deal with Roadrunner Records. Following a successful debut, the quartet released their second album, GASOLINE, in 2005. Produced by Howard Benson (P.O.D., My Chemical Romance), the collection features the band’s high-octane mixture of grunge and alternative metal on such singles as “Say Goodbye,” “Santa Monica” and Top 10 hit “No Surprise,” all of which earned extra exposure in the video game Fahrenheit. With singer-guitarist-lyricist Tyler Connolly leading the charge, GASOLINE earned a Rock Album of the Year Juno nomination in Theory’s native Canada.
