Buckingham Nicks
Recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles and produced by Keith Olsen, BUCKINGHAM NICKS is the only studio album by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks as a duo. The 1973 collection quickly faded from commercial view but never disappeared from the cultural conversation; when Mick Fleetwood was scouting studios the following year, he visited Sound City and heard the set’s “Frozen Love” there - which eventually led to Buckingham and Nicks joining Fleetwood Mac. With the pair’s tightly wound harmonies and sharply contrasting songwriting voices (ranging from the folk-rock shimmer of “Crystal” to the sunbaked strut of “Don’t Let Me Down Again”), the outstanding BUCKINGHAM NICKS gets its first-ever reissue today.
